  1. Ariel Theatrical, Inc. - Salinas

    Ariel Theatrical is a children's theatre company. The Spring Conservatory includes three programs/productions. The accelerated program is a large scale musical production (55 children) which is presented at Sherwood Hall in and Sunset Center in Carmel to an average of 11,000 school children who come with their classes for this exposure to live theater.

  2. California's First Theatre - Monterey

    Performances are staged year round, the theatre never having been closed since its reopening in 1937. The theatre is a unit of Monterey's State Historic Park. The performing company, Troupers of the Gold Coast, is the oldest continually operating theatrical company in the world. Estimate is, there are over 2,000 Troupers, all over the world.

  4. Monterey County Theatre Alliance (MCTA) - Monterey

    The Monterey County Theatre Alliance (MCTA) is an organization whose membership consists of Monterey Peninsula producers, actors, and many others with an interest in theatre. Membership benefits include two-for-one tickets to selected performances at participating theatres, free admission to monthly "Performer's Nights," and a free subscription to the monthly newsletter Back Stage.

  5. Pacific Repertory Theatre - Carmel

    Pacific Repertory Theatre, the only professional theatre on the Monterey Peninsula, presents live theatre classics from yesterday and today, family musicals, outreach festivals and programs, and houses 'S.O.D.A'(school of dramatic arts), an educational/vocational theatre arts program. Pacific Rep is in residence (Feb-Oct) at the historic Golden Bough Playhouse, housing both the Golden Bough and Circle Theatres, and at the Outdoor Forest Theatre (Aug-Oct), all within the small seaside community of Carmel-by-the-Sea.
