San Juan Bautista Mission - The historic city of San Juan Bautista with its Old Mission, State Historical Monument, and picturesque shops is just 12 miles south of Gilroy. The San Juan Bautista Mission, founded in 1797, is one of California's major tourist attractions. On the first Saturday of each month, Living History volunteers re-enact scenes from times past, including bread baking, crafts, music, and the making of tortillas. Mount Madonna County Park - One of the most majestic of Santa Clara County's regional park and recreation areas, this 3,219 acre park is dominated by the redwood forest so characteristic of the Santa Cruz Mountain range. To the east., the park overlooks the Santa Clara Valley, to the west it views Monterey Bay. A one mile self-guided nature trail winds around the ruins of cattle baron Henry Miller's summer home. Gilroy Garlic Festival Association - Located in downtown Gilroy, the Gilroy Garlic Festival Association is the official sponsor of the annual event. Their offices are open all year, and a specialty gift shop offers souvenir clothing and Garlic Festival gourmet foods and spices.

Garlic Festival Store & Gallery - A showcase of the finest our region has to offer from foods, wine, art, and garlic. Stocked with fresh garlic braids, elephant garlic, handmade garlic paper, garlic herb soap, garlic jewelry and more is available. The Festival Gallery features the work of local artists and photographers.
