The Valley Resource Center is:

the "helping headquarters" for the people in San Lorenzo Valley and Scotts Valley
a unique setting for neighbors helping neighbors, bringing help and services needed by the community - right to the community!
a strong network of community volunteers working together with both private and public organizations to bring help virtually to your doorstep (through a very special combination of time-shared space and VRC sponsored projects.)
assisting people to take control of their lives, fostering both individual growth and shared responsibility, drawing people together through networking that combines their strengths with the resources of the community
